He is born in the year 1970. Son of A. M. Joseph Areekkattu & Rosa Anakkallumkal.Did his Lower and High School Studies from St. George HSS Kallanikal, Thodupuzha Idukki, & Pre – Degree from, ST. Joseph’s College Moolamattam, Idukki, Kerala.
Bachelor of History from M. G. University Kottayam. Master of History Madurai Kamaraj University Chennai, Tamilnadu. Did his minor seminary at Kothamangalam. He completed his Bachelor of Philosophy at Trinity College Jalandhar, Punjab. Bachelor of Theology from St. Ephrem’s Theological College Satana, Madhyapradesh. Master of Theology from Dharmmaram College Bengaluru, Karnataka.
Ordination to the Priesthood was on 27th December 2003, Kallanickal, Thodupuzha.
